Thanks for stopping by! I’m Alex, the heart and hands behind Reminders of Them.
Reminders of Them began after creating my own memorial pieces for my family. This was my way of honouring my Mother, Father, Brother and family pets. This grew into a desire to help others display their own meaningful items, by extension, the stories of those who have passed. I realized how powerful it is to take keepsakes of our loved ones, that we usually tuck away then turn them into something visible, as a way to bring their warmth and presence back into the room.
The things people leave behind hold stories - happy ones, soft ones, funny ones, sad ones, complicated ones, and the ones we want to keep close. My goal is to help you turn your stories into a beautiful piece of art, in a way that feels personal, intentional, and that you can showcase.
Each Keepsake Pillowcase, Memorial Shadow Box or Memory Book is made with care, attention to detail, and respect for the stories they carry. I work closely with you through the process, making sure the final piece truly reflects the person or pet you’re honouring.
Reminders of Them is more than a craft for me.
